HTTP Put/Post fail when trying to create or update a model in Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

Error when connecting to Spectrum REST web services using HTTP POST/PUT from PAM.

The following error message appears in PAM UI:

Error while executing request or processing HTTP response. class com.optinuity.c2o.util.C2OException. HTTP response returned a non-success HTTP code: 415. Reason:

Environment

PAM Release : 4.3 and 4.4

Spectrum 22.2.7

Resolution

1. Click on the HTTP Post operator of your process > Go to HTTP Post Information

2. Set the content type to application/xml (This option is not available OOTB)

3. Save Changes and Start the process
