Issue/Introduction

This Article describes and confirm the main SMTP port that our clients should use for the Email Security.cloud service.

Environment

Email Security.cloud 

Cause

Changes in SMTP ports may Impact emails delivery when establishing connection with Email Security.cloud services.

Resolution

As per the ESS service description shown in This Document (page 11).  The Service Availability Service Level is defined by the ability to establish an SMTP session on port 25 from the Customer MTA to the Symantec Infrastructure, in compliance with RFC5321.
