Issue/Introduction

This article describes and confirm the main SMTP port that our clients should use for the Email Security.cloud service.

Environment

Email Security.cloud 

Cause

Changes in SMTP port may impact email delivery when establishing connection with the Email Security.cloud solution.

Resolution

Email Security.cloud uses port 25 to send and receive emails.

As per the Email Security.cloud service description shown in page 11 of this  Document , the Service Level Availability is defined by the ability to establish an SMTP connection on port 25 from the Customer MTA to the Symantec Infrastructure, in compliance with RFC5321.
