Issue/Introduction

TSSUTIL Report shows violation error *14*-12.

Transaction in production IMS is failing.

Resolution

TSSUTIL Report shows violation error *14*-12.

 

1412 return code means:

14 failed signon

12 Access denied to IBMGROUP xxxxxx

 

Trace also shows 1412 error:

The listing for acid did not find a complete OMVS segment.  The OMVS segment should be placed on the user record. A profile will work for the most part but usually parts of the OMVS segment are acid specific and it would be better to use MODLUSER.

Basically the acid needs the following:
- GROUP
- DFLTGRP
- UID
- HOME

Need to define an OMVS segment, Group, and DFLTGRP to resolve issue for those acid
