NFA Interface resolution in 1, 5 or 10 minutes

Issue/Introduction

Can I create Network Flow graphs in 1-, 5- or 10-minute resolutions.

The default sample is at 15-minute resolution.

 

Resolution

Here's how it works:

NFA Collects 1-minute resolution and 15-minute resolution data points.

The 1-minute resolution data points are retained for 30 days, while the 15-minute resolution data points are retained for one year.

Within 30 days of collecting data, if we look at NFA data under Interfaces and select a time window of 2 hours or less, then we will use the 1-minute resolution data points.  

If we look at a time window greater than 2 hours, then we will use the 15-minute data points. 

 

Please note that if you run a Custom Report (e.g. a report to a *.PDF file) then we will always use the 15-minute resolution data points.
