Issue/Introduction

 ACF2 compatibility fixes required for the upgrade to z/OS 2.40 include SO14735.

ACF00MLS+280 S0D3 ABEND AFTER SO13143 WITH MLS ACTIVE        
                                                             
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:  

After installation of PTF SO13143 an abend S0D3 may occur in 
module ACF00MLS+280 when a PTKTDATA SSKEY record is deleted. 
The problem is limited to sites that run with MLS active.    

MLS is Multilevel Security, and is a feature of ACF2.

How can it be determined if MLS  is active with ACF2 ?

If MLS is inactive, is the fix required?

Regardless of the status of MLS you are required to install SO14735 for ACF2 support of z/OS 2.40.
