Place a PAM agent in Quarantine via a SQL Query

Issue/Introduction

In order to automate the management of Windows updates for PAM agents, we would like to automate the quarantine of a CA PAM agent without going through the ITPAM administration screen.
Do we have the possibility to place an agent in quarantine via an SQL query?

Environment

Release : 4.3 and above
CA Process Automation

Resolution

Use the following query to quarantine the specified agent from the PAM DB:

update Agent set IsQuarantined=1, IsActive=0 where IPAddress='<IP Address>';

<IP Address> Here we need to mention the IP of the agent to be quarantined.

Additional Information

Note: It's required to recycle PAM to sync the node with DB.

Please take all necessary DB backups before running a DB query and to also test in non-prod first before attempting in prod
