Missing XML export from Version Management Object in AWI

Issue/Introduction

AWI seems to have the "Export" function available as part of the functions below the "More" button toolbar but not in Version Management as context menu item.

Release : 21.0.7

Cause

Missing functionality.

Resolution

The functionality  to Provide the "Export"  in the context menu, is planned to be included in a future version - Version 23.0 (ETA Dec 2023)  / 21.0.9.(ETA Feb 2024). Version and Timeline may change.

 

Additional Information

• Enable Version Management in your client by setting in UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS
  • VERSION_MANAGEMENT = Y (https://docs.automic.com/documentation/webhelp/english/ALL/components/DOCU/21.0.7/Automic%20Automation%20Guides/Content/AWA/Variables/UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS/UC_CLIENT_VERSION_MANAGEMENT_Parameters.htm)
• Create an object (of any type) and perform some changes and save after each change so that a Version Management history is written and contains a few items/object versions
• Open the Version Management tab and select one of the previous version items
• Check 1) Check the available context menu functions on the selected item. There is no "Export" functions available in the context menu
• Check 2) Check the available operations of the "More" button in the object's toolbar. There is an "Export" function available in the "More" button
