Issue/Introduction

What are the parameters required for setting up 'Email Alerting' in Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) and where can the values for those parms be found?

Resolution

On the main DCI panel Select MENU => OPTIONS and set the below parms along with defining EMAILID.  

•  SMTPSENDER -  any email that will be shown as a sender 
•  SMTPCLASS   
•  SMTPWRITER 
•  SMTPCLIENT  -  SMTP server 

The values for the above parms in green can be checked under SMTP proc, which often has the name CSSMTP.
