CA Unified Infrastructure Management On-Premise (Nimsoft / UIM)
Issue/Introduction
We are experiencing high alerts from mostly the netconnect probe for ping down. But all the machines are pingable. Reinstalled netconnect probe , but no luck. Alerts still appear with old dates. It is happening to other probes as well e.g., controller.

Resolution
Stop the nimsoft watcher Service
Delete the contents of the niscache folder
Start the nimsoft watcher Service
Deactivate NAS, alarm_enrichment and net_connect probe
Activate the alarm_enrichment, NAS and net_connect probe
