Issue/Introduction

Error: No subject alternative DNS name matching xxxx.xxx.com found when attempting to bind the VIP EG User Store to port 636 with SSL enabled. 

Cause

The Subject Alternate Name field of the LDAP server certificate contains a value that doesn't match the HOST name in the connection settings.

Resolution

The SAN field value must contain a hostname (DNS name) or IP address (DNS IP) that matches the value in the HOST field in the USER store settings. For example, if Host value is ldap.example.com, the server's certificate SAN field should contain the same DNS Name ldap.example.com.
