Business Rules not working on Creation of Risk

Issue/Introduction

We have created a Business rule to update a custom field (Risk Appetite) based on other custom field (Strategic Risk). Business rule is working a risk which is already existing. But during risk creation if we fill Strategic Risk, the Risk Appetite is not updating, even after the creation of the Risk, Risk Appetite is created.

Resolution

As documented in the product guide, the Set Attribute Business rule is triggered only for existing instances and not while creation of the instance

• Creating a new record will not trigger a set attribute rule.
