Does Allocate product support usage of passphrase for authentication? if yes, provide min and max passphrase supported by software.

Resolution

There is no place where this is necessary for ALLOCATE to have passphrase for authentication.

The only thing you need is for security requirements are:

To install Allocate , you need CREATE or UPDATE authority for all of the libraries in the SMP/E zone.

To customize Allocate , the TSO ID needs update authority to the parmlib library.

To run Allocate , its started task (or batch job) needs READ authority for the CCTVLOAD and parmlib libraries.
