Resolution

Templates are not used when using the quick close option, they are different aspects of request handling in the profile browser scratchpad:

Quick templates

Can be used to quickly define new requests in the profile browser scratchpad area.

Quick close request

Creates a ticket with the information in the scratchpad, then immediately closes the ticket.test666

No templates are considered here, including the quick template type, so that default settings in a template will not be passed into the request when using the quick close option.
