APM Metric Tree shows "Webservice at UnknownProtocol"

Issue/Introduction
We have configured the Java Agent with our application using LDAP and we noticed the Metric Tree is reporting "Webservice at UnknownProtocol"
Environment
- APM 10.8
- APM Java Agent 23.*, 24.* configured with CA PM 4.3.5, EEM and LDAP integration
Cause
The java agent does not recognize the URL "ldap://eem-server/" like several others (http/s Apache HTTP Client, Spring, OC4J, OkHttp etc) hence reporting the "Unknown" node.
We are planning to address this limitation as part of enhancement # F141062 - Java Agent Unknown Protocol Handling
Resolution
No workaround available
As of now March 2025, the code improvement will be part of upcoming JavaAgent 25.4.1 release. For an update contact Broadcom Support
