The controller-probe version 9.39.s consumes all available memory

Issue/Introduction

 

Currently running UIm 20.4 CU 8 on  primary hub  after upgrading secondary hubs to version 9.39s and  robots to 9.39s.

started seeing issues with performance on several robots, where the memory consumption started increasing. This happens on servers with SQL Server installed.

 multitude of timeout issues and performance issues related to the SQL Servers, noticed controller-probe was consuming up all available memory.

 downgrading to version 9.38s resolved the issue.

This occurs on different OS versions, and also different SQL Server versions.

Engineering created a new robot hotfix to address this, fix attached
