DX NetOps CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration

Issue/Introduction

Adding devices manually to Groups. Both device and interface components appear in the Group view lists. However, in certain groups, the interfaces disappear after an unknown period from the Interface list for that device in the Group View and the customer has to manually add the devices back. This appears to occur after the device has been in a down state.

 

Environment

DX NetOps CAPM Release : 20.2 or later

Resolution

Check the following under the Group:

  1. If not adding interfaces directly then is the include children box checked on the group

  2. If include children is checked and not adding directly then the interfaces will only be seen when inherited or direct and inherited is chosen when viewing the group
