Issue/Introduction

I am trying to discover devices using public keys (password less) with the SSH option enabled in Setup Discovery Wizard but devices are not being populated to the OC Inventory

Error in the discovery_agent.log:

Failed to open SSH connection: ip= xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx, user=testuser, specified public key file=/public/key: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail.

Any UIM version

Resolution

This behavior is expected as Discovery Agent does not support public key authentication
