Error VSI1102E viewing Endevor element

Issue/Introduction

VSI1102E error message is generated when trying to view elements in Endevor. This error was also generated when running BC1JCSYN in Validate mode.

VSI1102E  RETURN CODE 0008 FEEDBACK CODE 0044 RECEIVED FROM GET MACRO FOR RPL CNTL BLOCK

Customer reported that during the upgrade to z/OS 2.5, the FDR reorgs had an issue that affected BLKSIZES on VSAM datasets. For the two MCF files that were producing errors, the MAXLRECL was not as expected.

Actual:

Resolution

The two MCF files were rebuilt and the issue was resolved.  Reference job .CSIQJCL(BC1JJB06) for the appropriate VSAM definition.
