Issue/Introduction

After installing APM 10.8 SP1 unable to start Workstation

 

while Launching workstation from url getting below error.
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/ca/apm/introscope/workstation/webstart/launcher/LaunchWrapper has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 55.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.8

Resolution

Steps to follow:
1)Download and install java11 on the system
2)Install openwebstart application 
3)In the openwebstart application settings point java to the java installed folder in step 1
