Updated alarm policy configuration not observed in new alarms

Issue/Introduction

We have configured the below alarm message in the mentioned server using Alarm Policy. But it is picking up a different alarm message. 

Alarm message:

${metric_name} on ${component_name} for ${device_name} is at ${metric_value} ${metric_unit}. It has violated threshold of ${threshold_value} percent

Clear message:

${metric_name} on ${component_name} for ${device_name} is OK

Alert created:

• Release: 20.4

Resolution

Validate the plugin_metric.cfg file on the problem robot has been updated. The file can be found:

../nimsoft/plugins/plugin_metric/plugin_metric.cfg

If the file has not been updated with the updated change than the following procedure:

Clear all existing alarms for this issue. The next time it alarms should be with the updated message.
