DX ASM to APM integration - APM Alerts based on Webdriver metrics moves from "Unknown status" intermittently

Issue/Introduction

 

 

Environment

DX SAAS ASM, APM, OI

Cause

The min "Delay Frequency" checks in ASM for webdriver is 5 minutes:

 

Monitor type	Least check period duration in ASM dashboard
Website Monitoring (HTTP/HTTPs)	1 minute
DNS (DNS, DOMAIN)	1 minute
Advanced (Script, FullPage)	5 minutes
Real Browse Monitors (Firefox, webdriver)	5 minutes
Other services (SMTP, FTP, PINg etc…)	1 minute

the above unexpected condition can occur when the APM Alert(s) is configured with a resolution that is lower than 6 minutes, for example default 15 seconds.

Resolution

Update the APM Alert(s) with resolution to 6 minutes
