Issue/Introduction

What does the following error mean? 
C1G0192E  MEMBER MEMBER1 COULD NOT BE COPIED, REASON CODE 83000405.

Resolution

Endevor only passes along the Return/Reason codes from the Binder to the Endevor Binder interface. Since Endevor uses the Binder for the reading and writing of a Program Object (i.e. PDSE load module), it is at the mercy of the Binder. Endevor calls the Binder through the Binder API.

The Program Management Advanced Facilities guide has the following description for this error: 

83000405    SAVEW    A permanent write error was encountered while attempting to write the module. Module not saved.
