Issue/Introduction

Post installing APMIA HostAgent, CA System Edge service is not starting properly from services

Error message 193 ocx*1  ,

Windows event veiwer log showing error "it is not a valid windows 32 application"

Where as we can run the sysedge.exe directly or from command prompt without any error message.

Resolution

1: Copy the sysedge.cf and sysedgecf.back from apmia\SystemEDGE\config to windows system 32 folder (before that removed the existing one)

2: ca-setup ran apmia\casystemedge-6.1.7-windows\CA_SystemEDGE_Core 

3: Uninstall IA agent from command prompt

4: Re-install the IA agent on another location
