There is a compatibility issue with the Broadcom Agent and the IntelliJ application - when the developer highlights, double-clicks, or copies code within the IntelliJ application, the application freezes.
The GetAppInfo tool did not return any data for IntelliJ.
The instance of IntelliJ is installed on the endpoint but not activated when it is not used.
The application xming is a remote client that allows IntelliJ to run like a Linux instance on the developer’s workstation.
Added xming, with xming.exe, to the Global Application Monitoring list and cleared all checkboxes so that no channels are being monitored.
This works, the developer can now use IntelliJ without interference from the DLP Endpoint Agent.
