Increasing Memory Usage in SDM

Issue/Introduction

Problem has been observed in 17.4 GA and 17.3 RU22

Increased memory usage is noticed even during off hours

The domsrvr process specifically is seeing increasing utilization

 

Environment

Release : 17.4 GA / 17.3 RU22

Resolution

For release 17.4 GA, the fix is included in the latest RU updates.  As of present writing (Jun, 2025), the latest such update is 17.4 RU4.

For release 17.3 RU22, there is an existing fix available to address.  Please be aware that 17.3 is an EOS release.
