Issue/Introduction

No incidents being created for ChatGPT Gatelet.

Environment

Release : 16.0

Cause

As part of the configuration for a Custom Gatelet, specific URLs need to be part of the settings for data uploads to be captured by CASB and DLP.

Resolution

Ensure the following domains are part of the configuration for the Gatelet app in CASB:

• openai.com
• chat.openai.com
• auth0.openai.com
• api.openai.com
• gpt.openai.com
• platform.openai.com

Once this is done, a DLP CDS should start seeing REST Requests from the application.

 

Additional Information

Note that if using Contextual Attribute condition as part of the policy, the app name should be entered in your DLP Policy as below:

The name here should match the Custom Application name, as configured in the CASB Gatelet settings.

The value in the DLP policy should be in lowercase, however, and is case-sensitive (e.g., "gatelet.chatgpt").
