ESP PROXY fails with S878 then S0C4

Issue/Introduction

The ESP PROXY started task failed in 2 of 5 LPARs, with S878 issued followed by S0C4.  

Same ESP procedure used by 5 LPARs.

 

Environment

Component: ESP Workload Automation
Release: ALL

Cause

ESP PROXY procedure has REGION=250M coded in EXEC statement.

Started task unable to obtain sufficient virtual storage.

Resolution

Change REGION=250M to REGION=0M in procedure and restart the STC.

Installation Guide advises REGION=0M should be coded to ensure sufficient virtual storage

Note any ESP Master procedures should also be changed to REGION=0M.
