License key for Hostbridge Disaster Recovery exercise

Issue/Introduction

Planning a Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for Hostbridge and require a temporary license key.

Resolution

Create a support ticket using Support Product "Licensing-CA" and the Broadcom Customer Care licensing team will provide the temporary license key.
NOTE:
Please advise the licensing team of the Hostbridge version being used.
For Hostbridge versions prior to 8.0, an older type of Hostbridge license key will be needed for the DR test.
For Hostbridge version 8.0, which uses Broadcom LMP keys, the standard EKG will be needed for a DR test (New Features, Common Components and Services for z/OS 15.0 > Administrating > Resource Initialization Manager (CAIRIM) > LMP and CAIRIM > Add Product License Keys)
