Issue/Introduction

These are the instructions on how to fix the single partitioning with SSLV 5.4.1.6 either from COE CLI or from WebUI.

Previous to version 5.4.1.6 we have seen S550s configured incorrect partitioning, single disk usage.  Partitioning should be configured for dual disk usage.

Environment

pre 5.4.1.6 SSLv.  This issue has been corrected with a new RTM build to manufacturing, however, some legacy boxes may still have the single partition.

Resolution

From the COE CLI:
=============
1. Use the "installed-systems load" command to load the SSLV 5.4.1.6 image.
2. Issue "keep-console" command to save the management port IP and password settings.
3. Issue the "restore-defaults factory-defaults" command.

From the WebUI:
=============
1. Go to the "System Images" page, add a new image and load the SSLV 5.4.1.6 image.
2. After the image is installed the "Reboot required to apply changes" bar will appear on the top. Click the "Cancel" button. (Note: Don't click on the "Reboot" button).
3. Go to the "Halt/Reboot" page, click on the "Advanced Options" button.
Select the "Reset configuration to factory default" checkbox.
Select the "Retain network and password settings" checkbox.
Select the "Confirm Halt/Reboot" checkbox.
Click the "Reboot" button.
