Issue/Introduction

 

When running Policy Server, how to connect to it without using CA API Gateway?

 

Resolution

At first glance, API Gateway connects to the Policy Server to get protection, authentication and authorization with an embedded SiteMinder SDK Custom Agent.

To connect to the Policy Server outside the API Gateway, a custom SDK Agent using the SiteMinder SDK package is needed.

Note that the REST API can be used only to connect to the AdminUI, to manage the configuration of the Domains, Reamls, and Policies.
