Cloud Firewall Service's (CFS) Application Monitoring Feature Not Licensed

Issue/Introduction

 

Client is trying to use Cloud Firewall Service's Application Monitoring feature. However getting below error -

 

 

 

Client has valid WPS license and separate license is required for using Cloud Firewall Service - Advance features.

 

Is Cloud Firewall Service - Advance (CFS Advance) license sold separately?

Cause

Currently, CFS Advanced is not available to any new customers and licenses are not sold separately and it is not currently included in existing WPS licenses. 

 

Resolution

CFS-Advance feature is being replaced by a more powerful feature which is also easier to use. The new feature will be included in WPS and NPS license for customers in future at no extra cost.

CFS technical documentation ( https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/web-and-network-security/cloud-swg/help/cfs-about.html ) the CFS Advance license is not sold separately and in future it will be included in WPS licenses.
