Issue/Introduction

The option to restore a file from quarantine locally in the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client is grayed out and locked.

Resolution

To unlock this option, go to the assigned Virus and Spyware Protection Policy on the SEPM and enable Allow users to manage files in quarantine. This is located under Advanced Options > Quarantine > User Control
