Issue/Introduction

We have a user where security has been granted to Edit and Approve timesheets for his resources (Instance security).  When he tries to Adjust a timesheet for one of his resources he receives an error: API-1007 Missing security; contact system administrator.

We have already tried clearing cache and trying different browsers, which did not work.  We have also temporarily granted Global security to Approve ALL timesheets, yet the user still receives the same error.

This is not an issue with Auto-right.  Auto-right do not grant timesheet approva.  Timesheet approval was granted manually.

Note that user is having same issues even if the Global rights for timesheets are granted 

There is already a timesheet posted and the resource’s Resource manager who has access to enter and approve timesheet cannot adjust the resource’s timesheet. I tried changing resource manager still not working. Not sure what is missing for the resource manager not to have access.

Environment

Release : 16.0.3

Resolution

User was missing a Resource - Enter Time right over themselves. Once added that particular user to Resource - Enter Time instance right error went away.

Note: This is no longer an issue in 16.1.2 version.
