Use DOI without ASM

Issue/Introduction

Customer has an implementation of DXP 22.1 and they want to utilize the DOI component.As per below picture there is a note that in order to make a service they have to use ASM.

1. Is this a requirement to use DOI?

2. If the customer does not have ASM, how can they create a DOI service and link components to it?

3. How to configure a "Create Service Definition" without TAS?

Environment

• Release: 21.3

Resolution

• ASM is opptional
  • ASM provides Availablity metric for the service .. so Availablity will be blank if ASM is not integrated.
• Services are created from TAS data itself and stored in TAS also.
  • Service creation is not possible without TAS.
