When attempting to run an AutoSys client utility, such as 'autorep', the command fails with the following error...

error while loading shared libraries: libapicom.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Environment

Release : 12.0/12.1

O/S: Linux

Cause

The location of the AutoSys libraries is not included in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable that is set in the environment.

Resolution

Check the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable and make sure it includes $AUTOSYS/lib.
