Looking to understand which events will cause the AD group resolution to update on Endpoint Agent?

Resolution

There are a few different events that will cause the AD group resolution to update.

  • Agent Service Startup
  • User Login
  • Network change occurs (example vpn connect)
  • An attribute query is changed on Enforce
  • GroupResolution.DAYS_DATA_STALING.int (data staling default 7 days at which point the cache expires that is kept on the agent and must be updated before it can be used)
