Issue/Introduction

Executing Database Management for Db2 for z/OS tools r20.  After activating Db2 FL510 noted the error below, when attempting to update DSNZPARMs via Thread Terminator for Db2 for z/OS (PTT) option Maintain DB2 Parameters / U  Update DB2 Parameters:

PTT1104E ABEND OCCURRED PROCESSING REQUEST.  RC=000C1000-00000001

Resolution

Thread Terminator incurred an S0C1 abend because a Db2 DSNZPARM control block contained invalid data.

Review of the captured dump noted that the DSNZPARM entry list contains a DSNHDECP entry.
One of the possible scenarios in which this may occur is when SET SYSPARM is used to load the 
DSNHDECP load module in error.

The DSNZPARM entries appear to be corrupted and as a consequence PTT abended.

In order to resolve the problem without recycling Db2, issue two subsequent SET SYSPARM LOAD(module) commands,
where module is the name of a valid Db2 DSNZPARM load module.
