Rally integration fields should not be populated when an instance is created from template

Issue/Introduction

If an investment has data in the Integration fields and that investment is used as a Template, the data is copied into the new investment. 

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Login to Clarity 
2. Setup integration config and Sync a project instance on clarity with a PI on Rally 
3. See that the integration related fields like Rally Object, Formatted Id, Last Sync status, Last Sync message etc., are populated with relevant data 
4. Mark the project in step2 as template 
5. Create a new project using the template in Step 4 

Expected Results: Integration data should not be copied from the template instance  (Ex: Integration Mappings, Rally Object Id, Source etc.,). 

Actual Results: All the integration data gets copied from the template instance.

Resolution

This a low activity use case and at this time is not planned to be fixed. Use the identified workaround. 

Workaround: After the new instance is created, the user can modify the data. Alternatively, do not use an investment with data in the integration fields as a Template. Create a new Template and do not synchronize the template into the integration.
