Dear Valued Clarity FedRAMP Customer,

On behalf of CA Technologies, A Broadcom Company, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services.

You are receiving this notification because Broadcom will be updating its FedRAMP SaaS offerings to utilize SaaS data center services provided by Google Cloud Platform™ service (GCP) replacing the current provider, Microsoft Azure Government. Once this update is complete, your data will be stored at new data centers, which represents a change to a material subcontractor utilized in the provision of the Clarity FedRAMP offering. As such, it is recommended that you provide this information to your security and compliance teams for their review.

Migration Activities

In order to enable a smooth transition to the new data center, Broadcom will perform all technical activities to migrate each Clarity FedRAMP customer to the GCP data center. Broadcom will migrate an exact copy of each customer’s Clarity application together with its data store from the old Azure environment to the new GCP environment.

Appropriate time will be given to customers to also perform their own functional testing and sign-off on the migration of the non-production environment prior to the migration of their production environment.

Timeline

The Clarity FedRAMP data center migration is scheduled to begin as early as November 2023 and be completed by the end of February 2024. Broadcom will communicate the migration schedule to customers 30-60 days prior to their scheduled date so that there is sufficient time to answer questions, address concerns, and plan for any actions necessary to validate the new GCP environments.

Stay on the Latest Release of Clarity

To reduce the change impact to GCP, Broadcom will continue to upgrade customers to the latest GA version of Clarity FedRAMP per the published schedule.  Broadcom would like to make your upgrade as straightforward as possible, and provide documentation to help you prepare for your upgrade. Clarity SaaS user guides can be viewed at the Broadcom documentation site.
