What does Clarity support for LDAP Domains and LDAP Groups?

Resolution

Clarity supports the use of only one LDAP Domain and a LDAP group that is not "nested".

Hardware and Software Compatibility Specifications:
LDAP Server Supports any LDAP v3 compliant directory servers such as CA Directory, Microsoft Active Directory, NetIQ eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, and Oracle Directory Server. (We do not support LDAP Active Directory with multiple domains.)

Integrate Clarity PPM with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP):
Clarity PPM does not recognize nested groups in LDAP. Before you run the LDAP - Synchronize New and Changed Users job or the LDAP - Synchronize Obsolete Users job, ensure that your users are associated with a PPM group that the CSA search can find. Users in groups that are nested inside the LDAP Clarity PPM group are not checked when the LDAP synchronization jobs are run.
