Post OS upgrade unable to install UIM CU8

Issue/Introduction

We performed a side by side OS upgrade from Windows 2012 to Windows 2019, where we copied the entire nimsoft folder structure from the old server to the new, then ran the nimbus -install to activate the robot.

All services started fine, hub and probes and tunnels all OK.

When attempting to start the CU8 upgrade, (currently on CU7), it is reporting a fresh install is not supported.

 

Environment

Release : 20.4.x 

 

Resolution

Copying the missing xml file from e:\nimsoft\_ca_uimserver_installation folder worked fine

UIM upgrade does not detect the current UIM version
