Identity Portal password reset, resource not found, page hangs, after applying IDM patch

We applied the cumulative patch 14.4.2 on our IDM systems. Upon completion, we noticed that our password reset functionality in Identity Portal is not working. When we try to hit next after entering our username the resource is not found and the page stays there.

IP is integrated with SSO and we suspect the issue is due to caching issue on SPS/Access Gateway.
Modified the IM Connector's Task to the default ForgottenPasswordReset and restart the Connector. After that, we modifed it back to the original CustomPasswordReset task and restarted the Connector again. After doing this the problem disappears.
