Network Path - Connectivity loss to target (Monitoring Point has no network interface available for target address)

Issue/Introduction

I am getting the following error on a network path which is unable to connect to target:

Cause

A path source is determined by subnet. so when the path source subnet changes (ie gateway change, disconnect/reconnect), the subnet connected to this interface fails. 

Resolution

On Path creation, set the source network interface to Auto. This will provide connectivity even when the source subnet of the linked interface changes.
