Unable to paste sensitive keyword after selecting allow option in the Endpoint pop-up window

Issue/Introduction

When copying keywords that include our data classification label to an external web destination (e.g. google.com), a DLP prompt occurs to enter justification (expected), but the copied content does NOT automatically paste after entering justification and clicking OK.

Cause

DLP offers paste completion as a feature of the Endpoint: Notify response rule, however, not all applications receiving sensitive data support this feature.

Resolution

Respond to the Endpoint: Notify pop-up within 10 seconds (observed in Chrome/MSEdge) or no more than 30 seconds for other applications.

 

Additional Information

Update the Endpoint: Notify response rule to expire after 30 seconds.
