Issue/Introduction

The following message appears trying to add a profile to an acid:

 TSS0361E ATTEMPT TO ADD MORE THAN 254 PROFILES TO ACID

 

Is there any option to solve this problem?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Cause

The maximum number of profiles that can be added to an acid is 254.

 

The documentation of the PROFILE keyword documents the following:

 

Use the PROFILE keyword to add or remove up to 254 profiles from a specified ACID.

 

Currently, it is not possible to add more than 254 profiles to an acid.

Resolution

You should use the current profiles already added to this user for the new permissions.
