Environment

Cause

The tape we are trying to MOUNT using DSN was created on a different system than the system where we are issuing the Mount-By-DSN command.

Resolution

Suggested running a REFRESH on the system where you want to mount the tape.  Because the PICK and POINTER files are not shared among your various VMTAPE servers, you should schedule to run REFRESH periodically on each VMTAPE system that shares a TMC to help keep the PICK and POINTER files better in sync with information created on other systems.
