Rally Jira WIC Unable to connect to Jira error

Issue/Introduction

When configuring Jira WIC connector, the following error is seen in the logs

[2023-07-20 17:55:40 Z] FATAL: WorkItemConnectorRunner.run - JiraConnection.connect jira_connection.py(174) - Unable to connect to Jira or login using provided credentials--> string indices must be integers

 

Environment

Release : SAAS

Cause

This can be caused by specifying the Jira project by name instead of key

Resolution

Update the config file to use the Jira project key instead of the name
