Outlook add-in for the DLP Endpoint agent 'Outlook-Addin', causing crash

Issue/Introduction

Microsoft Outlook application crashing when sending email. The Windows Event is displayed below and reads, "Add-in execution error. Outlook crashed during the 'ItemSend' callback of the 'ApplicationEvents' interface while calling into the 'Outlook Addin' add-in."

 

Environment

Release : 15.8

Cause

One of the Exchange accounts in Outlook has become corrupted causing the Outlook plugin to crash.

Resolution

Remove the corrupted account from Outlook and attempt to send email again. The crash should no longer occur.
