SpectrumDataPublisher fails to start with "history.txt does not contain the version" error.

Issue/Introduction

When I start the SpectrumDataPublisher i get the following error

 

$./run.sh start
Validating connections...
Spectrum   : NA
TAS        : NA
NAAS       : NA
Jarvis     : NA
OIUrl      : NA
Configuration details not provided.
service is not started, check logs for more details.

The SpectrumDataqPublisher log file shows the following error:

history.txt file does not contain a value. When reviewing the history.txt file it was owned by root and blank.

Environment

Release : 22.2, 23.3

Cause

The SpectrumDataqPublisher log file shows the following error:

history.txt file does not contain a value. When reviewing the history.txt file it was owned by root and blank.

Resolution

1. Change ownership of the SpectrumDataPublshier history.txt file to the spectrum user.

2. Ensure the history has read/write permissions for the Spectrum user.

3. Edit the history.txt file and add the version. (In this case 22.2.10 07/19/2023)
