Issue/Introduction

Print files being sent to CA Spool print but not printing

 

 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Cause

Mismatch between class defined in CA Spool and print files generated

CA Spool printers set up to print class 'A' .

Print files generated are in class 'X'

 

Resolution

Either of the following options will resolve the issue:

1. Add print file output class 'X' to CA Spool printers via the Printer Menu. 
2. Replace 'A' with 'X' in CA Spool printers via the Printer Menu. 
3. Generate the print output with CLASS=A

Select the most appropriate option based on your operating environment (ie: your usage of the tool, existing JES output classes etc.)
